Congratulations to psychology graduate students Ciara Cannoy (lead author), Krithika Prakash and Shay Excell and Drs. David Ledgerwood and Leslie Lundahl on their paper Response to health warnings on cigarette packs as a predictor of future smoking among current tobacco smokers being accepted for publication in the journal of Addictive Behaviors.  The study uses the Population Assessment of Tobacco and Health dataset to explore the link between reactions to cigarette pack warning labels and subsequent smoking reduction and cessation. Also, in late fall of 2022, this paper also won the McGill University Durand Jacobs Award for best student paper on the psychology of addiction
