Congratulations to Dr. Hilary Marusak on receiving the American Public Health Association (APHA) NVDRS New Investigator Research Award! This project will leverage large-scale nationwide data from the National Violent Death Reporting System (NVDRS) to examine circumstances surrounding pediatric firearm-related deaths, spatial patterns, and trends over time (2014-2020). This project is in collaboration with Dr. Marusak’s Research Coordinator and MPH Candidate, Breanna Borg
