Research Interests

I study the Developmental Origins of Health and Disease, with my research focusing on the effect of maternal immune activation on fetal macrophage development along the placenta-brain axis. I am especially interested in sexually dimorphic responses to environmental triggers, such as benzene and viral infection, that contribute to offspring susceptibility.
